Need more details. Car, age, what else is on the quote sheet.
If it turns out that the car is older with high miles and there's a lot of stuff that's worn out then it may not be out of line.

When you take your car to the dealer or a shady shop, a 30 dollar part becomes a 1500 dollar repair....

Oh they responded to my query, but yeah. The rule of thumb is not to buy a German car unless you are prepared to make expensive repairs from time to time. That may just be Jalop knowledge though.

All four? Shops want about $300 p&l for each front on my S4, rears are a bit cheaper I guess.
